Short and honest. Here is exactly what we collect, why, the lawful basis for it, and what you can ask us to do with your data.
Effective date: July 3, 2026
This site is operated by Aashapura LLC ("we", "us", "our"), the data controller responsible for the personal data described here. If you have any question about your data, or want to exercise any of the rights below, email us at [email protected] or write to us at [registered address].
We collect only what we need to talk with you, deliver our services, and improve the site:
We do not knowingly collect data from children (see below), and we do not collect special-category data (such as health or biometric data) through this site.
We use a split consent model so the site works for you whether or not you opt in to personalization:
ark_session_id) lets the site and the assistants function during your visit. It carries no consent requirement because the site cannot work without it, and it is not used to track you across other websites.ark_cookie_consent.If you choose "Decline", none of that profiling happens — no profile is fetched and no behavioral signals are sent — and search, recommendations, and both assistants continue to work fully. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your site data, which brings the banner back.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following lawful bases:
We keep third parties to a minimum and use trusted providers for specific functions:
We never sell your personal data, and we never share it for third-party advertising.
We are based in the United States, so if you contact us from outside that country your data will be transferred to and processed there. Where we transfer personal data out of the UK, EU, or EEA, we rely on an appropriate safeguard — such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or an adequacy decision — so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.
We keep your contact details, messages, and chatbot transcripts only as long as needed to respond to you and maintain a record of our relationship, and then for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return. Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe. We retain aggregate site analytics for approximately 24 months, after which it no longer identifies you. Records we must keep for tax or accounting are retained for the period the law requires. When a retention period ends, we delete or anonymize the data.
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email us at [email protected] and we will respond within the time the law allows (generally within 30–45 days). You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
This site and our services are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, email us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and a restrictive security policy on this site. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe and will notify you and the relevant authority of a qualifying breach where the law requires.
We may update this policy as the site and our services evolve. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top, and we will make material changes clear.
